(How to) Talk to Your Kids About Sex – Free Info Session

For parents of elementary and secondary school students:
A free information session with Researcher Jocelyn Wentland, MSc

Time: 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. (Presentation + Q&A)
Location: Earl of March Secondary School
4 The Parkway, Kanata
No registration required. Free parking.

Why Attend? Today’s youth are learning about sex through social media, movies and more. It’s important for parents to
be their child’s number one resource. Jocelyn Wentland will discuss important tools and strategies for engaging kids in this
difficult, but important conversation! Have a question? There will be a question/answer session as part of the evening.
Jocelyn Wentland (MSc) is a part-time professor and PhD student at the University of Ottawa. She specializes in sexuality
and relationship research and is a member of the Human Sexuality Research Laboratory. She is a community advocate who
encourages parents to talk to their kids about sex so that they will make informed decisions.
